Care For Aloe Vera PlantsAloe Vera is easy to care for. The plant is a succulent, and often does well in sandy soil. Because it is a succulent, the soil should be allowed to dry for a few days between waterings. If the soil is kept moist all the time, the plant is in danger of being overwatered. Watering should also be adjusted for the season. In the winter the aloe vera plant should be watered less often than in the summer. During the summer it should really be soaked when watered, but still, the soil should be allowed to completely dry between waterings. Aloe Vera should be protected from harsh sunlight. Aloes exposed to harsh sunlight have leaves that turn brown. Sometimes only the tips of the aloe vera leaves turn brown. This is said to be caused by chlorine in municipal tap water. Aloe Vera should be protected from frost, the plant can not tolerate freezing. Other topics:
